Dear Friends and Colleagues,
The Atlanta Faith-Based Alliance (AFBA) will hold its next general meeting on Saturday, April 12, 2008 from 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm at the Radial Restaurant, 1530 DeKalb Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30307. We are encouraging each participant to come prepared to place an order for food from this establishment BUT to do so isn’t mandatory for attendance.
At this meeting we will introduce the Steering Committee members, explain the work and process of the Steering Committee to date and gather input from you that will allow the Steering Committee to solidify the vision and mission of the AFBA. The attached agenda includes a list of questions that the meeting participants will be asked to give written and/or oral responses to. Please take a moment to thoughtfully consider your responses to the questions prior to the meeting. If you are unable to attend this meeting, please email your responses to Louis Hinton at lchinton@... no later than Wednesday, April 9, 2008.
Thank you in advance for your attendance and participation that is key to the overall success of the Atlanta Faith-Based Alliance and how fast we move forward.

Meeting Purposes: To introduce the group to the expanded Steering Committee (SC), update the group on the Steering Committee's process and work; and to gather the group’s input so that the vision and mission of AFBA can be solidified.
Desired Outcomes:
· Meeting participants will have a deeper understanding of one another’s vision for AFBA.
· Meeting participants will agree on a process for moving AFBA forward.
· The current Steering Committee (SC) will receive sufficient information to draft a proposal defining AFBA.
